About the Job

Cyclone Social is looking for a Social Media Videographer to concept, shoot, and edit photo and video content for a wide variety of brands.

This role is built for someone who genuinely loves creating. Someone who's constantly studying creators, experimenting with new editing styles, and paying attention to how brands capture attention online.

You'll need to be just as comfortable shooting on an iPhone as you are behind a DSLR or mirrorless camera. Some projects call for polished commercial production. Others demand content that feels native to social. Knowing the difference is part of the job.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who understands that the best creative isn't always the prettiest. Great content earns attention, tells a story, and helps accomplish real business goals.

You'll work alongside a team of strategists, creatives, and marketers creating content for regional, national, and international brands across a wide range of industries.

This position is based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Candidates must live in, or be willing to relocate to, the area. A portfolio is required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Concept, shoot, direct, and edit photo and video content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social platforms

• Capture content using both professional camera equipment and mobile devices

• Work directly with clients, founders, creators, and talent during production

• Stay on top of social media trends, editing styles, and platform updates, bringing fresh ideas to the creative team

• Create thumbnails, title cards, motion graphics, and supporting creative assets as needed

• Organize footage and project files according to company standards

• Collaborate with strategists and designers to ensure every piece of content supports the overall marketing strategy

• Travel to client locations for content shoots when needed

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio showcasing both photography and videography work

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro

• Working knowledge of Photoshop, After Effects, and Adobe Creative Cloud

• Experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras, lighting, and professional audio equipment

• Comfortable creating high-quality content on mobile devices

• Strong understanding of social media platforms and how content performs across each

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with clients and teammates
